Focus on one of these books and answer the following questions: How would you summarize their argument in two paragraphs or less? Do you agree with their assessment about anti-democratic trends? Why or why not? Are
there aspects of their argument that you find exaggerated or otherwise unconvincing, and if so, why? What role, if any, does neo-liberalism and/or globalization have in their argument? In conclusion, discuss the practical implications of the argument for citizens, political parties, and governments.
