Chapter fourteen is an introduction to Social Psychology and includes many of the best know psychological experiments and discoveries discussed in the popular press and mass media.
On pages 361-362 in the textbook, the topic of Prejudice is introduced, both what it is and how to combat it. In the last few years, there have been increased efforts to combat prejudice in the United States, not always with success.
Consider and discuss the following:
Using one (1) of the five (5) approaches presented in the textbook to combat prejudice, suggest an exercise or action that could be used at colleges to help combat prejudice. What action could the College administration take to combat prejudice, or what activity might the Student Government sponsor that would help to reduce prejudice?
You will need to say what form of prejudice (racial, religious, etc.) you are looking to combat, and then give information about this idea you have on how colleges could combat this form of prejudice.
