In this part of the project you will use the information from part 1 to complete the hypothesis test. (You will learn this in chapter 10). Each of the projects poses a question:
Is the mean number of cups of coffee purchased per week by an SMC student greater than 3?
Is the mean salary at STATNET greater than $3500 per month?
Is the mean speed by the elementary school greater than 15 miles per hour?
The data set you have generated will be used in a hypothesis test to answer these questions.
The results of the hypothesis test will be used to make a recommendation for each project.
Should your company build a new coffee shop on the SMC campus? Why?
