“The personal statement will be read by the BFA Review Committee as a measure of creativity, self-awareness, and vision. We want to know who you are, how you see the world, and what motivates you to get out of bed every morning. Your personal statement should also give us insight to how you will contribute to Hussian College – Los Angeles as well as the communities that you identify with or care about. Your personal statement can also be a place to illuminate challenges you have overcome, leadership experience, or your vision as an artist. Note that there is no standard format or correct answer. The statement should be attached as a PDF of no more than one page.”
