Select an article and evaluate the material presented across the following three dimensions in a two-page, double-spaced paper:
I. Big Picture: What was the hypothesis of the research paper you selected? Why was the study conducted? What do you think the researchers wanted to happen? If you chose a news article, what was the author’s main message? Identify why the article was written?
II. Outcome: What did the research reveal? What actually happened? Was the experiment successful? Was anything learned if it was not? If you chose a news article, discuss what supporting evidence the author is giving to build their case.
III. Reflections: How does this study or article relate to what we have discussed in class? How might the findings be applied in the future?
