Analyze it for how plot, character, setting, point of view, symbolism, theme, tone, style and irony manifest themselves in the story or work. What is the balance of these elements? Are there any that are used less or not at all? Point out some of the devices and describe how it seems to further the author’s aim for the story, poem or play. If the work lacks one of these elements, such as a poem might not have a plot (though many do), mention that and work with the elements that are there
