Assignment: From the readings above, pick one and apply William E. Cross, Jr.′s principles, cited in the Schaetti article, to the author′s argument. You may want to review the broad categories Cross uses in his Nigrescence Model or his Four Functionality Categories of Identity. You may use the categories in any way that you believe they apply. For instance, you might want to use the categories of ″Bonding″ and ″Bridging″ in reference to the Moro article and discuss how racial/ethnic campus clubs correspond or complicate these categories.
