Attached Below explains what it would be like for the position on the “Commercial Brand Marketing” “Bayer Pharmaceuticals USA is the US subsidiary of Berlin-based Bayer Pharma AG. The Bayer US Headquarters campus is located in Whippany NJ. The HQ campus houses ~3,000 employees across Bayer Pharma and Bayer Consumer Health Business units. Key prescription therapeutic areas include Rare Disease, Cardio-Pulmonary/Renal, Hemophilia, Oncology and Womens Health. Major US Brands include Mirena/Kyleena, Adempas, Stivarga/Xofigo, Kogenate/Kovaltry/Jivi and Betaseron. This 10-week APPE is centered in Commercial Brand Marketing for the Rare Disease & Cardio-Pulmonary/Renal Business unit. Health Care Profession (HCP), Patient and Services Marketing will be the focus of the rotation, with a preview into both Brand and Portfolio Strategy. This rotation is an introduction into the professional roles/responsibilities & opportunities regarding leading all aspects of brand marketing advertising and promotion of ethical prescription-only pharmaceuticals at a globally based biopharmaceutical manufacturer. Student pharmacists will build upon their clinical and US regulatory knowledge by utilizing FDA advertising and promotion guidelines to the US Pharmaceutical Industry when educating health care professionals and patients about their branded prescription products. Clinically relevant, clear and medically accurate information are vital keys to educating our customers regarding the features, advantages and benefits of prescription therapeutics. Additionally it is imperative that any representations are done so with appropriate fair balance regarding the safety and limitations of any prescription therapeutic to ensure a balanced representation. At the end of the rotation the student will present to the team on a project of his or her choice.”
