Write a 4-5 page education autobiography up to your end of high school. Next, analyze the structural resources that led to or impeded your success in terms of the structural privileges/forms of oppression that they reflect.
Please note that my school was the Escuela Internacional Sampedrana in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It is considered to be the second most prestigious school in Honduras, so please write it in this context.
For structural resources consider that the normal school’s curriculum outside the AP system wasn’t rigorous as it should be if it wants to effectively prepare its students for college.
I was a very disciplined, top 10 student, with a lot of academic competitiveness among my 134 classmates. My teachers admired my academic rigor and dedication.
Motivation to learn was to excel in college and become the best person I could be.

Also for the pandemic, my school managed to use platforms such as Zoom effectively and no one had trouble connecting or accessing a device with Zoom (please note that I graduated high school in 2020).

Was hunger an issue?
Were you physically comfortable in your classrooms?
Did any personal challenges in your history affect your ability to study or learn?
Did your teachers assume you would attend college?
How were you disciplined in your high school?
Did your classes prepare you for college?
Were there metal detectors in your school?
What were the implicit messages your teachers and schools send you regarding your ability to succeed?
Did you feel valued?
Was there peer-pressure to excel academically?
How many substitute teachers were your primary educators?
Did you have recess? Music classes?
Did you have homework, and if so, was it helpful in your learning?
Did you have opportunities to express yourself? To be creative?
What motivated you to learn?
