Select an actual health-related bill that is moving through Congress or the California legislature. The first step in the project is to select an actual bill as the basis of your semester-long project. For bills in Congress, you can search for bills at www.congress.gov (Links to an external site.). For state bills, you can search the following website: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/home.xhtml (Links to an external site.)
Once you have identified a bill for your policy analysis, apply the eight-fold policy analysis process described by Bardach and Patashnik (2020) to make a recommendation on the bill.
