Where did the term ageism originate?
Does ageism cause harm to persons? How?
How can we reduce the amount and occurrence of ageism?
Are clinicians involved in ageism?
Have you witnessed any ageism in your experiences as a student nurse or as a nurse?
The first sentence on page two introduces the self-evaluation for ageism. Follow the link on the Harvard webpage and press “age” when you reach the Harvard webpage. Take the self-test.
When you complete the Harvard ageism test, give your results and then speak about whether you believe this to be a valid test.
