research paper on Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar
Examine one of the main characters as a critical thinker. You should look at the character’s reasoning skills, argumentative skills, and, most of all, their ability to understand what is going on around them. In your paper you should blend quotations from the play, academic research, your own insights…….. do a comparison/contrast paper. For example, you might compare Anthony to Brutus as a thinker and orator. Or, if you’ve read other Shakespeare plays, you could compare two characters from two plays, something like exploring Othello’s flaws as a critical thinker to a character in JC. Or, if you see a really strong connection, compare a character from JC to any other character in another book, play, or movie that you’ve read. Argue, for example, that Portia is comparable to Jane Eyre (ok, that example is a stretch, but you get the point).
