Presentation content: This should include a discussion of the characteristics of the assigned topic: the period, the style, the historical events that influenced architecture and design at the time, the names of significant individuals (if available) with emphasis on the important structures, interiors and furniture items. Use images to illustrate the discussion. Discuss how the images demonstrate the characteristics of the period, style, historical movement, and architects or designers work (if names are known). It would be good to include sociological information – i.e. why did the particular style develop in the way that it did? What were contributing factors that affected the evolution?
Presentations must contain a minimum of 10 images– all annotated. (Name of image, period, date, a little information about the piece, the architect/designer if known, and source from which the image was taken).
