Compare and contrast the best and the worst of the film adaptations on the syllabus. From these two movies, outline at least three criteria that distinguish the most successful film adaptation we′ve seen this semester from the others. Does the better adaptation stick closely to its source material? Or does it take some creative license? How important are the differences between literature and film in the case of your two choices? Cite at least two scenes from both the best and the worst film adaptations (minimum of four total) and explain how these scenes support your thesis. Does the medium (writing or film) or the story matter more?
