Screen shot and/or short video included for attendance. May use 1st person =50pts If students cannot find a LIVE class, the student MUST record a video performing an exercise from the beginning, middle, and end of the pre-recorded online class. Student will submit a private shareable youtube link as proof of attendance and include the video link of the recorded class.

Please be aware of time zones, cost (free, donation-based, fee) when registering. PLEASE BROWSE EARLY TO ALLOW ADEQUATE TIME TO FIND AND SCHEDULE YOUR CLASS!
ATTENDANCE: Online Live Class – Take a screen shot of yourself in class (not a screenshot of the confirmation email) and record a short video of yourself dancing the final combination taught at the end of class. Upload the photo file and youtube video link with a pdf of your paper to document your attendance. Online Recorded Class – Record a short video(s) of yourself dancing in an exercise/combination from the beginning, middle, AND end of class, and upload the youtube video link with a pdf of your paper to document your attendance. Live In-Person Class – Record a short video of yourself dancing the final combination taught at the end of class, and upload the youtube video link with a pdf of your paper to document your attendance.
Include a brief background on the choreographer and information on the dance style learned with historical significance
A. The name of the teacher/choreographer, date and time of the class, and style of dance.
B. Explain the choreographer’s background and movement style
C. Give a brief history explaining how the dance developed and how it evolved into the style you learned
D. Include any other historical information you feel relevant to the dance form and style learned
4. Write a detailed post class reflection identifying and describing:

A. The movement vocabulary and style of dance technique learned, using LMA vocabulary and Elements of Dance Organizer
B. The class structure and combinations/exercises you participated in (order of events)
C. Connections made between the movement learned and course material
D. Your perspectives on the overall experience in the class with personal insights
*Draw insightful connections through contextual explanations, inferences, and examples.

FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT: Each student will create a FOUR (4) source annotated bibliography on their area of study. (Minimum 1 book, minimum 1 scholarly periodical (e.g. jstor), and maximum 2 web sources)

two sources must be either a book(s) (ebooks must contain page numbers) and/or scholarly journal(s) (as appropriate for research area)
remaining source can be any online source as appropriate for area of research and college level academic research
No Encyclopedias, Wikipedia, or Tourism websites sources allowed
Required Elements to the Annotated Bibliography:
Please follow the provided format (see Provided Formatting Example below). Although this is an annotated bibliography, the assignment guidelines are more important than the exact reference style specifics (APA or MLA for example).
