1. What is the backgrounds of the authors and how do they apply to the study? Who funded the study? Is there any conflict?
2. What is the phenomena to be studied? What is the research trying to determine?
3. Evaluate the methods and procedures used and describe if they are appropriate. Be sure to include sampling, consent, data collection, and data analysis processes. Did any of these processes leave you with questions? How and why were these processes appropriate or inappropriate
4. Describe how the data was analyzed. Were there any weaknesses in the analysis.
5. Was there a conceptual or theoretical framework utilized? If so, is it appropriate?
6. Critique the report of the findings/discussion/conclusion/implications for practice.
7. Was the original purpose of the study met or not met?
