How and why is organisational change so difficult in the public sector? The assessment for the module is based on a single 4,000 word essay, allowing you to explore a topic in-depth. The course outline (which can be found at the top of the module on Keats and at the bottom of this section in Keats headed Course Outline) provides at least one question per week on the topic we will be covering. You can choose any one of these questions for your essay. If you prefer you can come up with your own question (although you should check with the module leader that this question is acceptable). Assessment: Criteria for the essay are as follows: – Answering the question – Structure and coherence – Adequate coverage of the relevant literature – Clarity of the arguments – Analytical insight – Balance in addressing all elements of the essay – Well support, evidence-based arguments – A critical evaluation of the issues
