Compose a formal grant proposal on behalf of the chosen organization for either a currently existing program or a student-developed program complementing the organizations needs and operations. The task is to choose an area of interest related to the agencys service field and develop a fundable community grant proposal that assists the organization or community in meeting an unfulfilled need. The grant proposal will include a cover letter or project abstract, a statement of need, program goals and objectives, program design/methods/strategies, an evaluation plan, and a brief funding sustainability statement. Proposals should be modified by the guidelines of a grantmaking agency appropriate to the students chosen sector. Additional details of each component will be provided in class.
