Use of Sociological Concepts: The purpose of this assignment is to see how well you can apply sociological concepts to a specific social phenomenon. As you write your response, be sure to apply as many relevant sociological concepts you’ve learned from the textbook so far. Whenever you use a concept, please put it in bold font, define it, and apply it appropriately to the subject of your analysis.
Analytical Writing: While there is no one right answer to these questions, students will be expected to go beyond their personal opinion and experiences and analyze the video from a sociological stance. This means considering how sociologists would analyze the topic and what the broader impacts are for society.
Citations: You are to draw on both course materials and outside sources in your analysis to support your claims. Students are to cite at least four sources including the course text. When citing the textbook, you only have to provide the page numbers (though be sure to point out the information is coming from the textbook). When citing outside sources you are to use ASA-style citations. Formatting: Responses should be 3-5 double-spaced pages, including an ASA-style reference page. Students are to use 12-pt, Times New Roman font.
Note on plagiarismAlways cite where you got information.
