In 2012, the State of Arkansas created a website that ties to the basic financial records of the state. The site is located at: transparency.arkansas.gov Review the website to become familiar with it and select “Expenditures” and “by Agency” in the most recent fiscal year ended June 30th. Select a State Agency and then drill down into their expense structure by selecting expense categories that you are interested in. Continue selecting the expense until you come to the name of the vendor the state works with. Start your post by showing each trail you took to reach two (2) different vendors, for example: AR Department of X > Y Operations > Z Expenses > ** Sub-expenses > ABC Corporation In a detailed blog post discuss the agency you selected. Describe the two (2) vendors, the expenses incurred, the nature of their business, the work they do for the state and any further information you were able to locate on the vendor that is not contained in the transparency website.
