QSEN Clinical Topic Competency of Evidence-Based Practice Clinical Issue: Using EBP to prevent CAUTIs catheter-associated urinary tract infections) CLABSIs (central line-associated bloodstream infection) and SSIs (surgical site infections) Purpose: Each student will develop a QSEN Competency presentation. The presentation can address any one of the competencies. The presentation must be supported by five peer-reviewed research/journal articles, and additional resources as needed to support your presentation. EACH STUDENT WILL DISCUSS THE RELATIONSHIP OF THEIR PRESENTATION TO THE BSN ESSENTIALS IN A SUMMATIVE SLIDE AT THE END OF THE POWERPOINT and/or HANDOUT ETC.
