Dr. I. M.A. Quack has decided to engage in research an internet podcast about unsolver mysteries that he believes are the only thing stopping society from descending into barbarism due to the current pandemic. He once again requests the help of the students of STC to help him with his research. This time he is looking at the mysteries surrounding the phemenon of UFOs or UAPs, with a special focus on the recent sightings of mysterious crafts by pilots from two aircraft carriers and have been acknowledged as being legitimate by the military.
In addition to the videos assigned by Dr. Oakes, Dr Quack wants the students to seek out two other sources of information whether it be two more videos or a Wikipedia entry or other source to see what other information is out there..
Here are the areas to look at:
The Background Story–Briefly summarize the background stories surrounding the sightings of these now famous videos. When were they seen and who are the indivduals who saw them?
What Exactly Are They?–Present and summarize the two main theories that might explain the origins of these UAPs.
They Came From Earth–What is the evidence that indicate that these UAPs are actually from Earth and not from outer space at all? If they are from Earth, who might be behind them? What are the limitations or problems with this particular idea?
They Came From Outer Space–What evidence supports the conclusion that these UAPs come from outer space? What specific aspects of their behavior and actions strongly suggest this might be the most logical explanation? If they are from outer space, what theories are there about why these objects are coming so close to the military?
