Change Management Intervention Proposal, Part One (Organization and Problem) Choose the topic for your OD project. Remember, an OD project is not project management, rather, it is Human Change Management. Please do not choose a technical challenge for your OD project unless you identify the underlying human challenges. Choose the organization that will be the client. Use a real organization with real challenges. Identify the problem and think of a proposed change intervention that may benefit the organization based on the problem of practice. Submit a four to five-page paper that describes the organization and the challenge, clarifies the organizational issue (Chapter 2), identifies the magnitude of the organizational issue (Chapter 2), lists the stakeholders, and identifies the type of change model proposed (Chapter 2). Use subheadings (left side justified; first letter capitalized) for each of the headings of your proposal. Include an APA cover page to both parts of the project. Minimum of three references required (outside references must be scholarly). Example Format for Part I: Introduction: identify key characteristics about your organization: mission, vision, history/background, service, or product(s) produced, etc. Organizational Challenge: identify an organizational problem of practice that can benefit from an organizational design (OD) intervention. Be specific and include a single issue. Key Stakeholders: identify the key stakeholders within your organization that have a direct impact on the change management process. Include why their roles and responsibilities within the organization. Make sure you include your role as an OD practitioner. Change Model: Select one of the five change models from Chapter 2 in the course textbook and explain how this model will help you design an intervention based on the organizational challenge previously listed.Show more
