How we would tackle Anti social behaviour within youths In the neighbourhood using the SARA model and how this model would prevent Anti-social behaviour. Think about this in two parts, for ASB is SARA better as a preventative or a reactive tool? When breaking down the SARA model examples, we can use are: Scan- officers can look on the crime reports and see where the hotspots are for the anti-social behaviour and the times ASB is occurring. Assess- Look and talk about ways on how police can assess ASB. Respond- police officers can increase hivis patrols and speak to the youths to find out why they are causing ASB. They could be causing ASB because- of boredom/ they come from a low deprived area/ lack of education.
