Write two Current Events Journal, one page each.
Document two stories (from newspapers, radio, television, magazines, etc. Not from peer-reviewed journals.) that include SUD issues. If you use online media, be certain that the story is topical (current – within the past 6 months). The assignment is intended to explore the range of SUD-related social problems, both can impact either micro, macro and/or mezzo practice field and tell how each article relates to the field of social work and the addiction field.

2. Relevance to SUD and social work implications
3. Media source (newspaper, radio, etc.)
