Students are to research the Internet and locate a recent case where a Police Officer was investigated by either the SIU or the OIPRD (so, obviously an Ontario case) and answer the following questions:
What were the circumstances that led to the Police Officer being investigated?
What was the outcome of the investigation? Choose one that has an outcome (charges, convictions, etc)
What conduct offences were applied from the Police Services Act (PSA) and why were these offences applicable?
Your answer must be about 300 words. Be within 10%; so, 270 to 330.
Record your answers in a journal format; that is, proper paragraphs are required, but NOT a title page. If you reference the PSA or other source, you must properly cite and reference (APA) it.
