Occupy Wall Street is considered to be one of the most influential political and economic-based protests in the modern American Era. While many people have accused the movement of being incoherent and lacking a common goal, the movement was based on philosophies and political ideologies such as horizontalism, and anarchism.
The first part of my paper will be explaining what horizontalism is, as well as what anarchism is, focusing on the aspects that were mostly used to support and back Occupy Wall
Street.
