Problem statement: The problem in this study will address and investigate the effects COVID-19 on the mental health of high school students grade 9-12. Best practice used to address your problem: An effective approach for addressing this problem is a qualitative study, which aims to investigate students’ perceptions of COVID-19. Study Population: The study population will be high school students, male and female, in grades 9th through 12th. The independent value in this study is COVID-19 and Dependent Variable is Mental Health. Brief plan of action for executing experimental design: This observation will investigate the impact of Covid-19 on Elementary students, and how it impacted academic success in the classroom. During the pandemic, studies showed children were easily distracted and uninterested in studying. Some feel it’s because there is no school environment at home, so they are more attracted to playing video games. Module-based or even online classes for elementary students require parental supervision. Unfortunately, not every parent has the time to monitor their children completely. Contrary to face-to-face instruction, the teachers were able to supervise the children very well, so parents only needed to spend a limited amount of time guiding their children. It appears that during the Covid-19 pandemic students were not achieving the level of success that they would have achieved if they had been attending school. Instead, they were only forced to participate in school activities by their parents.
