Real estate agent Julie Dempster, 27, is testifying in the Supreme Court trial of David Kingi Te Whetu , 15, of Maryborough who has pleaded not guilty to assault and sexual assault. The town has had a serious problem with violent Pacific youths for several years and Te Whetu was only recently released from a youth detention centre after being convicted of a similar charge when he was 13. .
