The policy of the United Sates has always been to make energy as cheap and freely available as possible. Most European countries charge three to four times as much for gasoline as we do. Many countries, word-wide, limit the amount of electricity and heating fuel consumers can use. In your initial post, discuss one of the following points: Who benefits and who or what loses in these different approaches (US vs. the rest of the world)? How have our policies shaped our lives?
