Attached is an archived review of our Common Reading, “Between the World and Me,” by Ta-Nehisi Coates. For this week’s discussion and in preparation for the Convocation, do the following:
1- Read the republishing of the Archived Review: “Between the World and Me” that is in your Common Reading Folder
2- Based upon reading his book at the beginning of the semester, what you have learned (about yourself and others) since exploring our primary text, I want you to write at least 1-2 questions to ask Coates that you have created. This might be sometime you are still curious about after reading the book? What are other insights you have glimmed and what confirmed? What challenges (philosophical or otherwise) you have in the book? Anything, just make sure it is concise and well considered.
3. In your discussion board, include your question(s) and explain why you are asking Coates to respond.
