The research explores the difference in the education level of teachers in schools that are predominately African American to those that are predominately Caucasian. The purpose of this study is to highlight the importance of the educational level of educators in the quality of education received by African American students. The research questions of this study are: a) Does the education level of teachers and administrators play a part in the level of quality education received by African American students and Caucasian students, respectively? b) Do students perform lower on a standard test when teachers are not certified in education?
