I do not expect this to be a thesis driven paper, but you still need to closely analyze important moments in the poems to build your critique and support your interpretations. To build a successful short, short paper, I highly advise that you free-write or list out all of your ideas then carefully edit out what seems off topic. Shape these ideas into an outline and focus on the ideas you generated that will clearly address this topic. In the outline, list the ideas you think are important then next to the idea consider the words and lines in poem(s) that support your critique.
