Now that we have looked at goal setting as part of the nursing process, as well as some time management and active learning strategies for you as a nursing student, please answer the following questions. You can consider goals in any of these areas: Academic, Professional/Career, Personal, and Financial.

Write a realistic goal that you’d love to achieve. Review the resources in the course to help you formulate your goal, and remember to make is SMART.

How would you feel if you attained this goal? How would your life be different?

What’s likely to stand in your way? List a possible obstacle that can stand in the way of achieving your goal.
