You are a new Director of Health Information Management. As a new member of the leadership team of University Hospital, you have been asked by the CEO to prepare a report. Your report (3-5 page paper) will answer the following questions:

How will you determine if your department’s contributions align with the strategic goals of the organization?
How will you maintain standards of ethical practice in your HIM department?
This question deals with relationship building and how you, as a direct report to the CEO of the hospital, will make relationships and your presence known. How will you go about developing relationships with all senior leaders to support your efforts in an ‘informal reporting structure’?
