One important component of lifelong learning is curiosity and without an innate drive to find out new information we can become stagnant. As stated in the AAC&U Lifelong Learning rubric about curiosity, explores a topic in depth, yielding a rich awareness and/ or little-known information indicating intense interest in the subject. For this week, explore the Library of Congress Digital Collection (https://www.loc.gov/collections/) and find an artifact or collection that interests you. Please share with the class the following: The name of the artifact of collection. Describe the artifact or collection and how it has raised your awareness. This type of curiosity can be described as joyous exploration. Is there a different type of curiosity that appeals to you more?
