DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNMENT
An autobiographical narrative is a story (narrative) about yourself (autobiography). You will use a personal experience as the basis of the story; however, you can embellish the story as much as you like, meaning that you can add details that may or may not be true to enhance the story. This allows your story to also be somewhat fictional for a more interesting or entertaining account of your personal experience.
You will also learn about literary elements, which are the basic building blocks of a story, and you will use literary elements to create a well-developed narrative.
