In Drama, remember that all the writer has to do is create character is their words. In this week’s Discussion, choose a speech by a character in Hamlet and discuss the use of language, diction, and rhythm, and rhyme. How does the character describe the subject of their speech? What are they trying to achieve in the scene?
Choose a speech of at least 20 lines, (or use a scene where a character has at least 20 lines) and discuss how this character reveals something about themselves through the language. Use at least 2 quotes from the speech (or scene).
