What are the authors′ points about the politics of race and racial identity in the Caribbean? B. Describe one example from the book of a social movement in the Caribbean that aims to address inequities of race, social class, gender, and/or sexuality. What do you think are the successes of the movement? What are its challenges? C. What comparisons can you draw between identity politics in the Caribbean around race, social class, gender, and/or sexuality and that which exists in the United States?
