It is important that there are programs and initiatives in U.S. cities and towns that are designed to address these diseases. Choose a chronic disease that affects America’s communities, and answer the following questions: What are some of the strategies currently in place to address the disease nationally? What are your thoughts and ideas about how to improve the current strategies? In your replies to two of your peers, you should consider how the chronic diseases that they discussed affect your community.
