Briefly discuss at least two social, economic, or environmental policies Canada has in place that promote healthy child development in any domain (e.g., physical, cognitive, emotional, social). Policies specific to Ontario are also acceptable.
Avoid discussing 3-5 distinct enacted policies we talked about in class at lengththese are: (1) environmental regulations on lead (L2), (2) summer school intervention programs targeting low SES children (L6), and (3) Quebec’s childcare subsidy and the universal healthcare example provided below.
