1) Introduction – Introduction clearly sets the purpose of the paper with well-written thesis statement.
2) Examining Viewpoint :
• Argument for viewpoint is thorough and synthesizes a variety of arguments and ideas.
• Uses appropriate evidence to support viewpoint.
• Counter arguments are provided and in depth.
3) Conclusion:
• Demonstrates synthesis of all information provided in the paper.
• Thesis statement is reemphasized, not just restated.
4) References:
• Incorporate two references to scholarly resources outside of class materials.
