Summary
As you have begun to discover, the crime lab provides various services that include physical sciences, firearms, photography, latent fingerprinting, biology and toxicology analysis. There are also more specialized services provided such as forensic psychiatry, forensic odontology forensic engineering and forensic computer and digital analysis. The forensic scientist then applies science to examine and analyze the physical evidence. Their task further includes determining the admissibility of the evidence in a court of law.
