This is a personal urban design research project focusing on the impact of urban design, heritage preservation and tourism in the Mideast. Mainly discuss about the project of Harat Zaman Urban design in Muscat, Oman, and the Pearling Path in Muharraq, Bahrain. (500 words Each) How is their urban design method? How does the method preserve heritage and justice (climate, environmental, racial, social, …) in the city? How can urban design integrate more sustainable urban development patterns around tourism? How to overcome the negative impacts?
