1. Dr. Brian Wansink shared some behavior economics he has employed across the nations from school cafeterias to grocery stores to provide health promotion programs with the aim to improve consumption of healthier options. What is the science of behavior change behind Smarter Lunchroom Movement (SLM)? Explain.
2.Provide three examples of Dr. Wansink employed with behavior economics and the outcome of all three.
3. Reflect on your own experience of being a student having a meal at school. You are now the director of nutrition services responsible for all lunchrooms in the school district. You want to make changes for the lunchroom, but have little to no money to invest. Review the Smarter Lunchroom (SLM) guide. Your goal is to increase fruit and vegetable consumption at your high school. Provide three things you will implement to address this goal.
4. From your plan in outlined in question #3, using the PRECED-PROCEED model how will you measure and report step nine, outcome evaluation? In simple terms, how will you measure the three things you implemented to evaluate the impact/outcome. Hint: you will measure before and after your implementation.
