* Do you see any parallels between the sweatshops of “free trade” globalization (such as Nike’s) and earlier historical periods we have examined?
* What parallels do you see between Thompson’s article and this film? How are they related? What do they tell us about our current moment?
* How does President Bill Clinton describe free trade? What impact does he say NAFTA will have on the world? How does that compare to the realities of factory life presented in Behind the Swoosh?
