Students will listen to the podcast, Hidden Brain, episode: The Snowball Effect, (Links to an external site.) 3/1/21 (with Dr. Damon Centola). He’s an expert on social contagions and how they might be harnessed to build a better world. After listening to the podcast students must answer the following prompt:
How can the criminal justice system shape the interactions we have in society to bring about positive change? Or, how can we harness our centralized echo chambers to make our networks more egalitarian in order to change beliefs? Think about the positive changes society is asking law enforcement, the judicial system, and corrections to consider.
