Propose a study involving a qualitative research design. Be sure to name your study design, and use references to the text and other resources to provide evidence that your design is appropriate. To prepare for your proposal, review relevant research. Summarize in your introduction at least three of these studies. In your proposal, be sure to consider issues of diversity and research ethics, and to clearly describe the strengths and limitations of your study design.

Evaluate qualitative research methodology of existing articles by considering the limitations of findings, weaknesses in the methodology, and transferability of results.
Generate appropriate research questions based on existing, empirically validated knowledge.
Apply current standards of research ethics based on population, diversity considerations, design, and research questions.
Propose a qualitative research design that addresses the identified research questions.
Synthesize qualitative research analysis based on research questions and data characteristics.
