Grades will be based on the following criteria:
Are the notes reasonably clear and readable for someone other than the note-taker? (Useful when sharing lecture notes with classmates!)
Do the notes show the main topic and focus of the talk?
Do the notes include the most important supporting ideas with relevant examples/explanations?
Are the notes organised (e.g. into different sections, including headings and sub-headings)?
Are the notes selective (i.e. do not try to include every detail & every word in the talk) ? Are full sentences generally avoided?
Are symbols and abbreviations used effectively to save time and show the relationship between ideas?
