What is a Supply Chain Process?
A supply chain involves a series of steps involved to get a product or service to the customer. The steps include moving and transforming raw materials into finished products, transporting those products, and distributing them to the end-user.
What do you need to do?
1. You will choose a product, any product you like. For example: A computer, a car, a food item, etc.
2. Then you will draw the supply chain of that product from the beginning stages of getting the raw materials, components, ingredients, etc., all the way until it gets to the end customers.
3. You will say why this supply chain process is interesting to you.
What challenges could there be if anything goes wrong in the process?
What needs to happen to make sure the flow of materials, goods and related information among suppliers, companies, retailers and consumers is smooth?
